The game studio is reportedly going back to its horror roots following a growing displeasure among fans about the game increasingly off its original genre which made it successful in the first place.
E3 2016 may be the platform where Capcom is likely to reveal new details about their possible new sequel “Resident Evil 7.”
Amid growing disenchantment with the game, Capcom is now seeking to re-ignite interest into Resident Evil franchise by bringing back the survival horror roots that made the first three games immensely successful. The most recent games and a number of other spinoffs seem to have failed in locking in gamers after the series’ growing deviation from its original genre.
