Jared Fogle became famous 15 years ago when he lost 200 pounds on the "Subway Diet." Fogle claimed to eat nothing but Subway sandwiches for months and still managed to shed pounds. His story took off and his increasing fame caught the attention of the restaurant chain Subway. Eventually the company hired him as their official spokesperson and Fogle appeared on Subway commercials and several campaigns launched by the restaurant chain.
