'Outlander' News & Updates: Jamie As Perpetrator In A Rape Scene, Season 2 Reason For Fan Dissatisfaction & Intimacy For Season 3

"Outlander" was one unique tv series that currently airs this year. The approach to femininity, sexuality and the humans as a whole had caused a big impact and caused people to feel real interest on the show. So how's the show doing?

The Season 1 of  of "Outlander" was a success, the dynamics of the show was very good plus the cast is perfect. The balance is there and it was unexpected that Season 2 had some fallout. The reason behind this were some story arcs that didn't go anywhere and does not satisfy the viewers, plots that have relied heavily on coincidence rather than the human motives, and the demise of Jamie and Claire whether to kill Bonnie Prince Charlie.

The "Outlander" Season 2 was a not so good season and the Season 3 might be able to bring back what the show has lost. The season will contain two of the major points of the series that may bring back success, first the rape scenes and Lord John Grey (David Berry) . For the viewers of "Outlander," Season 1 had featured the long rape scene, Season 2 featured two rape scenes and one of it is with a minor and the Season 3 will have this kind of scene again but the difference is, Jamie will be the perpetrator. While  Lord John Grey will be a man with a questioned sexuality.

Now, the "Outlander" cast have already confirmed the start of the taping for Season 3 and Caitiona Balfe who plays Claire and Sam Heughan who plays Jamie will have more steamy scenes this coming season. The lack of intimacy from Season 2 caused for the actress to miss it a little. The onscreen chemistry of the two will be witnessed again and people can't help but speculate that maybe there is something between them behind cameras.

Actor Graham McTavish of "Outlander" shared some information during a Q&A about the show. It was asked if fans can still see him on the show and a positive response was heard, with time travel an essential part of the show, he said, 'anything is possible'. His favorite scene on the show was Colum's death and his feelings about his characters death, Dougal Mackenzie, which was murdered comes to him as no surprise as he already knew about it from the start.

The "Outlander" Season 3 have a lot of things to work on to get what Season 1 has started and what Season 2 has lost. Claire and Jamie will be together so fans are left wondering what the two of them will face and what controversies will arise during the season.
