There's a big Pokemon Go update coming this December, and it looks like gamers are in for some neat little treats as Niantic and Nintendo bring in more content to the popular gaming app.

By now, gamers already know that by Monday next week, Dec. 12, a new Pokemon Go update will be rolling in to enable trainers to do multiple Pokemon transfers to Professor Willow, and add in a few iconcs and Candy Counts to the game. However, it seems like Niantic and Nintendo have even more surprises for Pokemon Go gamers this holiday season. Dataminers have just uncovered a few new features added into the Pokemon Go Christmas Update, and it looks like a doozy.

First off in the mystery feature list, it looks like there's a bunch of new sound files for the next 100 Pokemon being jammed in to the newest Pokemon Go update. The older version of the game had audio files for species 1-151 in the game, but now it seems like its moved to 1-251. Bearing this in mind, Gen II Pokemon may just make their way into Pokemon Go soon!

Aside from that, the new update is also bringing in new gender's for the Pokemon, as well as code for Shiny Pokemon variants in the game. Shiny Pokemon are extremely rare, and they have high collecter's value in the main Pokemon games.

The new Pokemon Go update will also bring with it other fun features as well, like the Baby buddy position, sponsor placeholders like the Grill and Smoker, as well as Pokemon Costumes. Gamers can now dress up their Pokemon with the first set of costumes labeled under Holiday. Talk about whopping updates.

In other Pokemon Go news, it looks like an updated Pokemon tracker is now rolling out across the globe to give gamers a better experience looking for Pokemon. The Pokemon Go Sightings feature has also been returned to the tracking page of the game and gamers are finally feeling better towards the Pokemon Go tracker.
