New ThinkPad Models From Lenovo Have 3K Displays, Improved Battery Life

Lenovo is continuing the legacy of producing one of the best lineup of notebooks. The company recently refreshed the existing ThinkPad lineup of notebooks by introducing three new models - T450, T450s and T550.

The new notebooks excel in terms of power and efficiency. The newly launched ThinkPad notebooks are being powered with Intel's new 5th-gen Core Processors, paired with Lenovo's own PowerBridge technology.

ThinkPad T450 comes with a 14-inch HD 1366 x 768 anti-glare which can be upgraded to 14-inch 1600 x 900 anti-glare screen or a touchscreen with the same resolution.

ThinkPad T450s is a lighter version of the afore mentioned T450 model, aimed at users who are always on the move. The T450s offers 14-inch 1600 x 900 anti-glare screen standard with can be also upgraded to a 1080p anti-glare/touch panel.

These laptops have a huge 72 watt-hours battery with the 3-cell + 6-cell option which makes them some of the longest lasting notebooks in their class.

The third ThinkPad model T550 has a bit more customization options. Though the laptop comes with a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 anti-glare panel, it can be upgraded to a 1080p screen. There is also an option to upgrade to a 15.5-inch 2880 x 1620 display.

The new ThinkPad models have the option to use standard storage (up to 1TB) or SSDs (up to 512 GB). In terms of RAM, the T450 and T550 can have 16GB max while the T450s can scale up to 12GB.

The prices of the new ThinkPad models are as follow:

T450 - $849

T550 - $999

T450s - $1099

All three models by Lenovo are expected to hit shelves next month.
