Has Motorola finally announced Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus Android 7.0 Nougat update?
Lenovo, one of the world's largest tablet manufacturers unveiled its new Yoga book in Europe's biggest tech show IFA2016 Berlin.
A lot of fear and uncertainty has surrounded Motorola since it was bought by PC giant Lenovo. Many feared that the resurgent Android smartphone maker would lose its identity, focus and style within the coddling embrace of the world’s largest PC and laptop manufacturer. Although it’s still too soon to stop worrying just yet, the fourth-generation Moto G (or the Moto G4 as Lenovo are calling it) is so good that we can at least take a breather.
Lenovo has started sending invites for the launch of a new Zuk-branded smartphone, with May 31 the chosen date. Not details about global availability have been announced.Not much is known about the smartphone till now, apart from it being a smaller variant of the Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro that was launched last month.
The Lenovo Group already has two solid and instantly recognisable brand names in its stable: Lenovo itself, and Motorola. As a result, the company has a variety of solid products that sell in huge numbers the world over. However, like others have done before, Lenovo has decided to market a part of its product range as online-only. These products come under the new Zuk sub-brand.
Lenovo has essentially taken its popular ThinkPad T460s design and shrunk it down into a more manageable frame with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2016 edition. The ultrabook sports a similar black magnesium and carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Similar to the T460s the X1 Carbon offers slight curves around the corners of the display lid and the bottom of the chassis, helping to spice up the otherwise professional simplistic aesthetic.
Lenovo have heralded the X1 Tablet as 'the 2 in 1 for business and the lightest and thinnest ThinkPad, and weighing in at under 1.1kg and under 13 mm with keyboard'. That doesn't even begin to do this newest ThinkPad justice.
Motorola has recently announced its latest fourth generation Moto G lineup in three variants: standard G, G Play, and G Plus. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker seems to have been gaining a lot of ground since breaking into the ‘budget smartphone’ market with its immensely successful Moto G series- its best-selling brand since Razr.
Reports have suggested that Lenovo is going to rename Moto X Moto Z to bring branding consistency.
Zuk is another part of Lenovo. Since many in India may have not heard about Zuk it’s a Chinese internet firm which are trying to compete with other manufacturers in the region such as LeEco and Xiaomi. This was founded in 2015. As per sources, this is the same firm that are firmly present in internet sources and now are also a part of IoT.
Good times and Bad times both are now at the doorsteps of Lenovo. From lawsuits for its sister company Moto, to good times, Lenovo have started experiencing both sweet and sour at the same time. According to a recent report, Lenovo’s K4 Note smartphone have now sold 500,000 units in India alone since January 2016. To add up to this sweet news for Lenovo users, the firm also mentioned that 100,000 units of their Virtual Reality gear were sold as well. To mark this important news for them, Lenovo have now confirmed that the Vibe K4 note and Ant VR headset bundled will be available at around 250$ through Amazon.
There is yet to be a screamer from Motorola now owned by Lenovo in their consumer-end budget phones. Now according to a recent rumors, Moto's new phone in their "G" sequel might all be true after all.
Lenovo, also known for their collaboration with Motorola, came out with a new K5 Note in January this year. It was released the same time after launch. Comes at a thickness of 8.5mm it comes at a size of 6 inches. There are two sim slots with both Nano-sim structure. The phone comes in a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1080p with a pixel density of 401. The phone supports multi-touch.
Chinese electronics giant Lenovo has unveiled a phone sporting built-in laser projector that can be used to display a virtual keyboard or display. The laser projector can also be used to beam images and videos onto walls.
At the 'Tech World' event in Beijing yesterday, Chinese tech-giant Lenovo unveiled a number of products including new laptops, new media streaming device, tablet for businesses. It also unveiled a number of "concept" devices and one of the most interesting was a pair of 'smart-shoe.'
