‘Fantastic Beasts’ Update: J.K Rowling Clears Rumor On Sequel

J.K Rowling has cleared rumors that spread on a "Harry Potter" fan site about the new sequel "Fantastic Beasts" and "Where to Find Them" on Sunday evening.

A user on the "Harry Potter" fan site, Snitch Seeker claimed to reveal'exclusive' information about the sequel of the upcoming movie "Fantastic Beasts." The information revealed that on the first sequel of the upcoming movie, which is scheduled to show in cinemas on November 2018, will pick up almost immediately after the first or within weeks after the first movie installment as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

A tweet from J.K Rowling proved that the post is not correct said that the sequel to the first installment of the movie will not begin days after the first movie ends. "This isn't correct, I'm afraid! The sequel doesn't begin days after the first movie ends (although we do go to Paris.)"

Recently, J.K Rowling has defended Johnny Depp regarding his role in the movie after it has been confirmed that the actor will appear in Warner Bros.' "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" sequel as Albus Dumbledore's rival, Gellert Grindelwald which was described as the "most dangerous dardk wizards of all time" in the "Harry Potter" novels.

According to E! News, many "Harry Potter" fans expressed their disapproval on Johnny Depp's role on the sequel but Rowling explained why only the actor can play the role of Grindelwald in the movie. The screenwriter said that she thought Depp would be amazing in the part. I didn't approach him-although he was approached with my full blessing, because I thought he'd be amazing in the part. I can't say much, because there are surprises in the movie, but I'm really happy with his performance," she said adding that the fans will sure be happy with Depp's performance in the movie as well.

"Fantastic Beasts" and "Where to Find Them" will hit the theaters nationwide on November 18.
