Huawei Honor 6X Specs, Review: Get A Dual Rear Camera Phone At $150

A good news for the mobile camera lovers, Huawei Honor 6X has been introduced with a dual rear camera. People who expected dual rear camera phone at an economical rate, this is their phone. The rear camera of the phone is a combination of 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras. The base model is priced at around $150 in China and is expected to be available in U.S. soon.

The front camera of the phone is 8-megapixel and it would serve the purpose of high-quality selfies. The phone comes with in-house octa-core Kirin 655 processor with either 3 GB RAM or 4 GB RAM. The device comes with a 5.5-inch screen with full HD resolution, cited by Slash Gear. The screen is made with 2.5D glass, which has slight curvature at the edges making it more stylish.

Huawei Honor 6X is available in three variants; the base model boasts 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory; a 4 GB RAM model with 32 GB internal memory, priced at around $190; another 4 GB variant with 64 GB internal memory, costs around $240, reports Engadget. The memory of all the variants can be expanded up to 128 GB using micro SD cards.

It is a dual-SIM phone and it has a fingerprint sensor under the rear camera. Per Huawei, it can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds. The metal body of the phone makes it look like a premium phone. It supports 4G VoLTE along with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. The phone works on Huawei's UI 4.1 and has Android Marshmallow as the operating system. The up-gradation to Android Nougat can be expected soon, as Android N is scheduled to release to all compatible devices in coming months, per reports.

The 3,340 mAh battery of Huawei Honor 6X is expected to help the buyers to use it for a complete day. It comes in five colors - gold, silver, blue, gray and rose gold, reported by Mashable. The dual camera feature is already available in LG G5, HTC 10, iPhone 7 Plus etc., but the price is high for those and people who look for such camera phone at a 1/5th price of those phones, can welcome this device.
