"How I Met Your Mother" Season 10 is a possibility to air soon. The series ended in 2014 with nine episodes. The upcoming season is speculated to focus mainly on Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Marshall (Jason Segel).

In a report from iTechPost, a possible "How I Met Your Mother" Season 10 surfaced after two years when Season 9 ended. The series follows the story of Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby) who is telling his children on how he met their mother.

Alyson Hannigan teased in the same report that there is a possible spin-off of the series rather than doing "How I Met your Mother" Season 10. The spin-off may focus on lily and Marshall, added Hannigan.

According to Movie News Guide, Hannigan and Segel joked about getting another show for them titled 'Out by Lunch.' It is not about Marshall and Lily at all but a different story. She joked that she and Segel love working together and this sitcom may be appropriate for the two of them. However, there is still a possibility of another season for "How I Met Your Mother."

Meanwhile, as another Season for How I Met Your Mother is still on the works, Hannigan already appeared in one episode of 'The McCarthy's.' She has also voiced Winter in the 19th episode of 'Sofia the First' titled 'Winter's Gift.'

Segel also has yet to come back on television after "How I Met Your Mother." He already appeared in 'Sex Tape' which is a romantic comedy alongside Cameron Diaz in 2014. In 2015, he starred in 'The End of the Tour' with Jesse Eisenberg and Anna Chlumsky.

Additionally, Segel will also appear in a film in 2017 titled 'The Discovery.' The film is directed by Charlie McDowell and includes Rooney Mara, Riley Keough and Jesse Plemons.

The starts, Hannigan and Segel are busy with some of these projects while waiting for a confirmation of a new season of "How I Met Your Mother. "
