'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3, Episode 3 Spoilers: Pride's Team Handles A Bigger Case, Vanessa Fertilo Faces Challenges In Zoe McLellan's Role

In "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3, Episode 3, the team lead by Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) will realize that the case they are handling is not a simple murder case as evidences point them to a Mexican kidnapping case.

In this episode titled, "Man on Fire," the team is in Mexico where another officer was last seen. A dead body will be spotted inside a sports arena. They are trying to figure out who is behind the death of the officer. As they investigate, they are will not just be lead to a kidnapping case but also to another petty officer, Spoiler TV revealed.

With this, it appears that the two cases are related and the team needed to act fast to make sure that the life of the kidnapped petty officer will be saved. Stills of the upcoming episode also shows that what the team is handling is a big case.

Meanwhile, fans are unhappy about the exit of Zoe McLellan, who is allegedly busy with her dating life and her son, Sebastian. Reports also reveal that she left the show because she was underpaid and the producers refused to give her a raise after she requested for it.

Other reports also reveal that Vanessa Fertilo, who plays the new FBI special agent Tammy Gregorio, is having a hard time with filling the shoes of McLellan who played Meredith Brody. Because of that, her character isn't leaving a mark in the hearts of the audience, Morning Ledger noted.

Gregorio also has her own secrets and it must be her tough character that prevents her from blending with the team but it is said that she will eventually get the trust of the team soon.

"NCIS New Orleans" Season 3 is written by Zach Strauss and directed by Rob Morrow. It will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Tuesdays on CBS.
