"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 brings back Michael (Brett Dier) to his post as a police officer right after he was shot on his wedding day in the previous season. In this upcoming season Jane (Gina Rodriguez) will face challenges and a somewhat gloomy future.

According to The Christian Times, "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 starts just a few minutes after Michael is shot. Jane is heavily affected by the incident and this is going to be one of her lowest times. This season is the toughest for Jane in the series.

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 also reveals more of the character's past. There is a lot of history to be learned. This season also will reveal how the past can affect effectively in the present and future life. There are more flashbacks to be seen in Jane's and Michael's relationship.

In a report from Ecumenical News, another story to be expected in Jane the Virgin Season 3 is the couple's honeymoon. It has been reported that Jane will eventually lose her virginity in this upcoming season.

It can be remembered that the couple have not spent their alone time, right after the wedding because of the tragic incident that befell on Michael. "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 might have Michael survived from the gunshot wound and will totally heal.

Meanwhile, Jane still undergoes a challenging phase in coping up with what happened to her husband. She is hurt and saddened by the thought of losing Michael just right after they said their vows to each other. Jane will have to be strong for Michael since they are still moving on with their lives as a newlywed couple in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3.
