Remember Jeff Goldblum of "Jurassic World?" If you hope to see him again in "Jurassic World 2" then your hopes will go cold.

Jeff Goldblum would not be in the 2015 Jurassic Park sequel.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, on Friday night, Jeff took a break from promoting his new film Independence Day: Resurgence to talk dinosaurs.

Admitting he was asked to be in Jurassic World, Jeff, who starred in both Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, said: 'Yes. I was available. But had a big satisfying meal with being in two of them.'

Jeff played Dr. Ian Malcolm in the 1993 Stephen Spielberg-directed Jurassic Park, as well as its sequel in 1997.

According to Jeff Goldblum he was 'open' to reprising the role of Dr Ian Malcolm for Jurassic World 2.

Speaking Fandango at Comic Con, the actor said: "I'm nothing if not open - I'm like an open-faced sandwich," he explained.

"My door is not always open - I took the door off. I removed the hinges from the door. I'm too open. I'm like a chicken piccata."

But, now seems like he won't appear on the big screen of Jurassic World 2.

Jurassic World had stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and went on to gross $1.6 billion at the global box office. There are plenty of familiar faces on board as Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, Judd Hirsch, and Brent Spiner will be back as President Whitmore, Jasmine, Julius Levinson, and Dr Brakish Okun.

Filming is set to start later this year but fans will surely miss Jeff Goldblum.

"Jurassic World 2" will premiere on June 22, 2018.
