Kpop News: BTS Leads on Monthly Album chart with “Young Forever” Special Album

Since then, BTS has been dominating different music charts and no wonder that they will continuously maintain their spot as number one.

According to Gaon Music Chart, BTS's special album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever that was released on May 2 takes the No.1 spot on their monthly album chart for May. After the release, the album has hit remarkable market sales by selling around 310,000 copies in less than a month.

"Young Forever" leads the first place on Gaon's monthly album chart by selling 310,243 copies. Taking the second place is INFINITE's Woohyun with 78,126 copies sold, followed by Jessica's solo debut album "With Love, J" which sold 69,777 copies. Other albums in the Top 10 include recent releases by I.O.I, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, and AOA, as well as solo albums by Girls' Generation's Tiffany, SHINee's Jonghyun, and JYJ's Xia.

BTS's special album not only reigns in domestic charts but also international's with the title track "Fire."

Meanwhile, the group is celebrating their 3rd year Anniversary through BTS FESTA 2016. A BTS Party will be held on June 13 via Naver V Live+. BTS are also currently holding their Epilogue Asian Tour.
