The WWE is replete with cases of wrestlers going a bit over the rails in their personal lives that led to their careers being under a bit of a cloud due to the obvious public backlash that follows such a thing. The wrestler becomes a bit of a pariah as far as his public persona is concerned, especially when he ends up being embroiled in a domestic violence among other things and as such he becomes a liability for the company as far as star value is concerned. In an incident that would certainly come as a shock to most WWE fans, South African wrestler Adam Rose (real name Raymond John Leppan) has been arrested from his residence located in the town of Lutz in Florida and as per the statements from the Hillsborough County Sherrif's Office his crimes include domestic violence and battery.

The reports first came into light on the TMZ website and according to that report, the wrestler tried grabbed Cassandra Luppen, his wife by her face and even the police have stated that 'marital problems' form the basis of the problems between husband and wife. Other than the grave crime of domestic violence, Luppen has also been charge with witness tampering since he yanked the phone from his wife's hand when she dialed 911 and was trying to speak the police regarding the situation. The wrestler is still in jail and he has not been bailed out yet.

What would come as an even bigger setback for the wrestler is the fact that the WWE has immediately distanced itself from him and released a statement indicating that the wrestler has been suspended. "WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Raymond Leppan has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest." However, it is also interesting to note that his problems with respect to his professional life is nothing new and as wrestling fans would know, he is currently serving a 60 day drug related suspension from the WWE. It remains to be seen where he goes from here.
