The anticipation over 'Pokémon Go' is continuously cropping up despite recent efforts by Niantic, The Pokémon Company, and Nintendo to crack down on leaksters who are tipping off the latest updates of the augmented reality title's beta tests. Despite the crackdown, a gameplay footage of the game and a slew of other exciting leaked features are doing rounds online.

As mentioned in a report by Neurogadget, some keen game observers seem to have noticed a pattern in important 'Pokémon Go' announcements in recent weeks. For example, the first major update on the beta version occurred on March 3. This was followed by another beta-related announcement on April 7. Both dates were coincidentally the first Thursdays of the month. However, no major announcement took place on May 5.

Game observers think that the 'First Thursday' scenario may not be the pattern that they are trying to figure out. However, it could be that major announcements for the augmented reality title may take place every five weeks. If such prediction is accurate, Niantic may announce the latest developments- which may include details for the full version release- on May 12, Christian Today reported.

If the May 12 announcement doesn't happen, Niantic may spill the beans at this year's E3 event, the gaming industry's annual conference which is held every June.

As beta testing continues in various parts of the world, Niantic and Nintendo have advised game testers to stop leaking beta tests updates like gameplay footages while the beta field test is still ongoing. The caution came when leaked info on the Pokémon evolution process started making rounds in various online media outfits.

Recent updates from Vine Report revealed that the leaked beta footage has already been removed leading observers to speculate that the video may have been accurate leading the game developer to exert more vigilance on leak attempts and punishing suspected leaksters by suspending their beta privileges.

Other exciting features that many beta testers report include the impact of specific weather conditions on the emergence of specific Pokemons; Electrically-charged Pokemons, for example, tend to spawn in great numbers when there are lightning and thunderstorms as per Parent Herald report.
