Rumors suggest that Fifty Shades Darker co-stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson do not get along with each other, neither on sets, nor in real life. However, this might not be true after all.

In an interview with USA Today, the actor revealed his chemistry with his co-star, who happens to be his love interest in the upcoming sequel to the film, Fifty Shades of Grey. Dornan has also said that the two of them are quite fond of each other in reality.

Calling her "sweet," Dornan further said that two of them are actually friends and the directors would not have decided to cast two of them in the first place if there was no on screen chemistry between them.

Despite the rumors that a feud is going in between the two stars, Dornan seems to have just nice things to say about Johnson. He said that Johnson is actually a very easy person to get along with. He describes Johnson as "funny" on the sets of the film.

"Dakota is very funny-and humor on a film set goes a long way. But she also had the ability to be a very strong dramatic actress. She'd be telling a joke one minute and breaking your heart on-screen the next-so she was perfect," Dornan said in another interview with the Vogue Magazine.

Dornan also claims to have respect for her and feels protective over her, especially when they are required to film a sex scene. Dornan said that as colleagues, they both respect and trust each other for what they are required to do for this film.

As for the rumors that they don't get along on sets or in real life, Dornan states that for their work they have to be fond of each other.
