Chelsea's quest for a new goalkeeper has been doing the rounds for several months now due to the indefferent form and injuries suffered by their first choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and it seems that they have found a new goalkeeper in French club Troyes' Yehvann Dioff. According to reports published by the French publication L'Equipe, Chelsea's chief transfer fixer and negotiator  Marina Granovskaia has been putting in the required work to bring the 16 year old goalkeeper to Stamford Bridge in the summer and it is expected that a deal could be sealed within the next few weeks as the negotiations seem to be at an advanced stage.

Dioff is regarded as one of the up and coming goalkeeping talents in France and has been training with the senior team at Troyes. His natural skills as a goalkeeper has been noticed by some of the biggest clubs in Europe including Juventus and Bayern Munich but it seems that Chelsea has stolen a march on the two giants by moving in quickly. According to the report, Chelsea are on the verge of agreeing on a fee of £320,000 for the player and the total fee could come to something around £800,000 if certain targets are met over the course of his time at the club.

Although it is true that Chelsea have two very good goalkeepers in Thibaut Courtois and Asmir Begovic in their employ, there are doubts about their long term future at the club. Belgian goalkeeper Courtois is angling for a move to Real Madrid after having already spent a significant portion of his senior career in Spain with Atletico Madrid while Begovic is unhappy about his status as the second choice goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge. Begovic might move to a club who would be able to give him a guarantee in relation to playing time. Chelsea are planning to conduct a massive squad overhaul during the transfer window before Antonio Conte officially takes over as manager and it is believed that Yehvann Dioff could be the very first signing as the club gets its transfer business into top gear.
