According to recent reports, Kim Basinger has been announced to play the role of Christian Grey' dominatrix, Elena Lincoln. With this news left the fans wondering about the role of Jack Hyde.

The cast and crew of "Fifty Shades Darker" are expected to reconvene on the sets to begin filming the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey." While the announcements for the cast of the movie have been made, it is yet to be seen who will play the role of Jack Hyde.

Jack Hyde is an integral part of the plot, an antagonist, who will play an even more impart role in "Fifty Shades Freed." Hyde will make his first appearance in "Fifty Shades Darker" as Anastasia Steel's boss who Christian Grey will fire after he learns about his ill-intentions towards Ana.

Christian and Hyde have some bad blood from the past that will instigate Hyde to exact revenge from Grey. This will ultimately become the main highlights of the movie's sequel.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors about bland chemistry between the lead stars of the movie that is delaying the movie's production.

Dornan was quick to address the issue though: "They wouldn't have shot the film with us if there was a lackluster chemistry problem... whatever chemistry means. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn't have cast us."

Another report says that Johnson and Dornan are clashing on the sets and are reportedly fighting over their popularity. However, there is no official report that the two main leads of the movie are feuding on the sets. For now, it is pure speculation.

"Fifty Shades Darker" premieres in theatres on Feb. 10, 2017.
