Controversial and media hyped Republican front runner Donald Trump has astounded the American political landscape once again by repeating an insulting term a woman aired while attending his campaign rally in reference to another GOP rival Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

As his previous statements suggest, the real-estate-mogul-turned-presidential-candidate has always prided himself for being not politically correct. In a frenzied Trump's rally, the presidential contender picked up the offensive term from a woman shouting near the stage but could not be heard throughout the large crowd.

"Okay, you're not allowed to say and I never expect to hear that from you again. She said -- I never expect to hear that from you again! -- she said: 'He's a pussy.' That's terrible," said Trump in the sea of cheers and laughters from his supporters as quoted by The Washington Post.

Campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson immediately came to her candidate's defense saying that Trump was merely exercising "free speech" and that it was "fun with the audience".

However, critics quickly called the unsavory incident filled with Ted Cruz insult as totally unbecoming of a US president.

"There are certain words and certain phrases that are just not suitable for running for president," remarked Ted Cruz spokeswoman Alice Stewart as mentioned in a report by CNN.

The incident created a social media storm while mainstream media try to downplay the story due to its reprehensible language unfitting for broadcast or print.

According to a report by The Vox, indecent content are generally not allowed on radio and TV from 6am to 10pm as per FCC regulations although the story can be published in its entirety online.
