Adele did not have any political connections to presidential candidate, Donald Trump and have not given permission for the latter to use her music in campaigns.

"Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," says a statement from the hit maker's representative as reported by Independent.

The issue started when netizens on social media criticized the billionaire in his choice of using the lyrics of tracks Skyfall and Rolling In The Deep in delivering his platforms in public. Before Trump appears on stage, his staff will surely play Rolling In The Deep to arose the atmosphere of the area.

"Don't suppose he asked for her endorsement. Hopefully she's objected," one netizen said.

"Noooooo!! Not Adele!! Must Trump ruin that too?!," asked one fan. "I think she's cringing as much as we are ... wish he would drown in the deep. The bigot."

Aerosmith's front man and former American Idol judge, Steven Tyler and REM's Michael Stipe aired disagreement for the president candidate's use of their music in his campaigns.

Tyler's attorney slammed Trump saying that using the band's famous track, Dream On "gives the false impression that he is connected with or endorses Mr Trump's presidential bid."

Michael Stipe gave a more personal statement describing the billionaire and his staff as 'sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little men,' according to Vanity Fair.

In the surveys conducted after the Republican Iowa Caucus, Trump is said to have been chosen as the crowd's most favorite and has surpassed Ted Cruz's ratings. However, since Adele announced that she did not give permission to the candidate, the ratings are said to have lowered, which mean that the singer's statement may have influenced the ratings, Consequence of Sound said.

Trump attended Adele's concert in New York on November last year. His appearance in the venue is said to have met boos from the crowd, according to Vanity Fair.
