Fans might find out just exactly when they can start downloading Pokémon GO, the first-ever mobile Pokémon game. The latest rumors are claiming that the official release date for the game could be announced on Nov. 15.

iDigital Times reported that Junichi Masuda, who is the director of the original Pokémon games, will be going on the popular Japanese TV show, "Pokémon Get TV." The website found out about the appearance from Twitter.

Although Masuda did not say that he will be talking about Pokémon GO, many are hoping that he will reveal more details about the game, particularly the release date. Pokémon GO is being developed by Niantic, who just received $30 million in funding from The Pokémon Company, Nintendo and Google.

Pokémon GO is an augmented reality game where gamers become real-life trainers and try to catch Pokémon in real life settings. Although the game will be free for download, people will be able to buy Nintendo's Pokémon GO Plus, which is a wearable device that alerts users when there is a Pokémon nearby.

John Hanke, the CEO Niantic, said previously, "For the first time, Pokémon will roam free in the real world. Pokémon GO will allow players to capture Pokémon who inhabit parks, shopping areas, sidewalks and the countryside all around the world. Imagine discovering a Squirtle hiding along the waterfront in San Francisco, a Bulbasaur at Shinjuku Station or a Pikachu beneath the Eiffel Tower."

If Masuda does not talk about Pokémon GO at all, fans are at least hoping that Masuda will talk about the rumored game, Pokémon Z. Rumors about Pokémon Z surfaced shortly after new forms for the legendary Pokémon, Zygarde, were introduced.

What Masuda talks about on the show, however, could depend on the content in the November issue of CoroCoro magazine, which comes out on Nov. 14. Fans were very disappointed when the October issue did not mention Pokémon Z at all.

Pokémon GO and Pokémon Z are rumored to be coming out in 2016.
