Dave Grohl's accident in a performance in Sweden last month has never tampered his enthusiasm. He even call it 'blessing in disguise.'

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the musician said that the audience gave out a different kind of energy in the recent shows where he is performing even with his injury.

"The shows we've been doing lately are our favorite shows that we've ever done. What seemed like a setback at the time has turned into this beautiful blessing in disguise, where this throne and these crutches and these audiences make us play longer and harder than we ever have. It's this whole new energy in the show," he told the news source a day after their Canada tour.

In their July 4 performance for their 20th anniversary at the RFK stadium in DC, Grohl is sitting on his 'throne' designed with guitars, music apps and other decorations in front of his audience.

He revealed in previous interviews that the idea came to him while he is sedated in the hospital.

In another interview with Rollingstone, the Foo Fighters front man revealed that the injury could have been worse.

"I could have done some real damage."

"This is pretty gnarly, but it could have been a lot worse. I'm just blessed to still be talking to fuckin' Rolling Stone," he added.

The 46-year old musician also gave an update about his health condition saying that he is recuperating.

"I'm starting to do a little bit of rehab exercise and the cast is off. The swelling's down. The pain's gone. It's just a matter of getting those kick-drum muscles back, man. I can't fuckin' lose those. That's important to me. So I'm sitting here, moving it around, doing my exercise as we speak. So it's OK," he said.

Meanwhile, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters performed at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, Canada with Rush, Billboard said.

The said performance was attended by Grohl's mom in the audience and Geddy Lee's mother.
