Facebook owned virtual reality glasses maker Oculus VR Inc founder has been accused of taking confidential information he learned while working with another company and passing it off as his own.

The plaintiff, Total Recall Technologies, said it hired Oculus founder Palmer Luckey in 2011 to build a prototype head mounted display, Reuters reported.

The lawsuit alleged that Luckey used the feedback for improvement received during 2011 and 2012, in his Kickstarter campaign for his own head mounted display called the Oculus Rift.

The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages but does not specify and amount, Reuters added.

Total Recall Technologies has enlisted global law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan for its lawsuit whose major client include Google and Samsung Electronics Co Ltd.

Oculus founder is accused of breach of contract and fraud, among other claims.

Just to mention, this is not the first time Oculus has been involved in a lawsuit. A year ago, it was sued by ZeniMax, for allegedly infringing on ZeniMax's intellectual property.
