George Clooney is known for playing pranks on his mates. While promoting Tomorrowland in BBC's Graham Norton Show, he jokingly shared that being married to Amal Alamuddin does not stop him from being a prankster.

According to People, Clooney told the host that he had done a recent prank to long time pal, Brad Pitt.

"I'm doing one now that I can't tell you about, but in a year you are going to hear I've been arrested - I'm not kidding, because I think I've crossed the line," the 54-year old actor told the host.

But I have a wife, she's a barrister, I'll be fine!" he added.

During the interview, he revealed previous pranks that he did to pal further saying that his pranks do not get noticed until a year or two later on, Evening Standard said.

"I'm not sure how it started but we have done some terrible things to each other. I had some stationery made up with his name on and would then send letters to other actors from Brad Pitt. I sent Meryl Streep a letter from him with a whole stack of dialect coach CDs saying that they may help her for her role in the Iron Lady," he revealed.

George did not only target Brad Pitt in his pranks. He also had made it on close pal, Matt Damon who talked about in last year's promotion of The Monuments Men.

E! Online said that Clooney made a prank telling Matt Damon that he had gained weight and they need to work out together.

The Bourne Identity actor only realized that it was a prank after filming the movie.

"I read finally, which answered a lot for me, that he'd been taking my wardrobe in," Damon said further saying that George was changing the size of his pants 'every couple of days' for "about an eighth or a sixteenth of an inch."

Meanwhile, in a previous interview with Good Morning Britain, Clooney expressed his excitement to live with Amal Alamuddin's where she grew up further revealing their plans to renovate a historic mansion.

"[We're] really excited - I love it. We're going to have a great time, there's a great old pub and there's a great restaurant, The French Horn, there and it's a really beautiful fun place to be. I'm really excited," he said.
