LeSean McCoy, who was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Buffalo Bills, still has plenty to say about Eagles head coach, Chip Kelly.

In an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer on Monday, McCoy said, "I don't think he likes or respects the stars. I'm being honest. I think he likes the fact that it's 'Chip Kelly and the Eagles.'"

The 26-year-old running back added, "It was 'DeSean Jackson - a high-flying, take-off-the-top-of-the-defense receiver.' Or 'the quick, elusive LeSean McCoy.' I don't think [Kelly] likes that."

McCoy also discussed the reasoning behind his trade, stating that Kelly should have been honest. At the time of the trade, Kelly said that the trade was done for financial purposes. However, during the owners' meetings in March, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie stated that Kelly preferred DeMarco Murray's playing style over McCoy's.

"I read what [Lurie] said in the media and I agree with it. There's nothing wrong with that," McCoy said. "Chip felt like I wasn't a fit for his offense. But why not say that? It's hard to say that because if you turn on that tape when that [offense] isn't going I make that [stuff] happen. You see, he can't say that. But I think that's how he felt."

Despite his comments about Kelly, McCoy clarified that he has nothing against the coach.

"He's just different. But I don't really have any hate for him. I really don't. In the beginning I did, but I don't. If I see him I'll speak to him, respectfully -- 'How are you doing, coach? Good luck,' " McCoy said, although he revealed that he did not answer two of Kelly's phone calls.

Kelly, who joined the Eagles coaching staff before the 2014 season, has also let several players go, whether it was through a trade, free agency or team cuts. These players included quarterback Nick Foles, receivers Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson, and linemen Todd Herremans and Trent Cole.

McCoy is playing on a five-year contract with the Bills worth $40 million.
