Microsoft has announced the two new mid range smartphones at the on going Mobile World Congress - the new Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. The regular 640, with 5-inch HD display is an upgrade from the 630 whereas the 5.7-inch XL version is a step up from the large Lumia 1320.

Microsoft has launched the cheapest 4G phone, Lumia 638 running Windows 8.1 OS in India. Microsoft Lumia 638 runs on a quad-core processor and is powered by 1GB RAM.
HTC is reportedly planning a separate event for its next flagship, One M9's release in March instead of taking the stage at CES and MWC events.
