On July 7, sources say that singer Minzy is setting to hold a solo fan meeting in late-July or early-August to meet her fans.
Music Works shared details that Minzy is focusing on her education rather than preparing for promotions as a solo artist.
Minzy reportedly confirmed to have signed an exclusive contract with Music Works. On May 16, a rep of the record label confirmed that Minzy signed a contract to them.

YG Entertainment officially confirmed that Minzy is permanently leaving the group, stating, “We first apologize to the 2ne1 fans who have been patiently waiting and for delivering an unfortunate news to everyone. We are making an official announcement that 2ne1’s maknae Minzy will no longer be a part of 2ne1.”
