Amid a plethora of criticisms, Facebook remains firm on its decision to have a major presence at a Trump-dominated GOP convention as a neutral sponsor. Like other Silicon Valley titans like Google and Microsoft, the social media giant will sponsor both Republican and Democratic conventions alike to serve as dialogue facilitator while avoiding endorsement of a particular group or candidate.
