Although the tech giant has not officially made any statements about it yet, reports say that Apple might release its MacBook Pro laptop in the summer of 2015.

Rumors reported by TechRadar claim that the company will unveil its new product to an anxiously awaiting world at the Moscone Center, between June 8 to 12 in San Francisco. The release would be a part of the vaunted Worldwide Developers Conference.

Apple is also rumored to be working toward the release of a new MacBook Air with a retina display this year. Spectators believe that the new MacBook Air with retina display will be released before the new MacBook Pro, which is slated for a release sometime this summer.

The MacBook Pro 2015 is rumored to be available in two versions; a 13-inch version with 8GB RAM, and a 15-inch version with 16GB. At the same time however, some observers claim that there will also be a 12-inch version. The new MacBook Pro is also reported to be lighter in weight and thinner in shape than the previous models users have grown to love, making Apple one of the world's largest and richest companies.

The Christian Post reports that a possible cause of the summer 2015 release for the new MacBook Pro may be due to the fact that Apple is awaiting the release of a new processor. The Post says that Apple could be waiting for Intel to release its next generation processor known as Skylake. If this is the case, it is possible that the release of the new MacBook Pro will be pushed back until 2016, if Intel runs into any problems finalizing the new processor.
