Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks is reportedly preparing for her a divorce from incarcerated husband, Apollo Nida. According to last night's episode, Parks, however, did not file for divorce papers before Nida started his sentence.

In July 2014, Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft. The reality TV star was charged for his involvement in a four-year scheme that included more than 50 people.

"Today's sentencing exemplifies impartial justice regardless of economic class or perceived celebrity status," Reginald G. Moore, Special Agent in Charge of the United States Secret Service, said after the sentencing. "Nida's sentence should be an eye opener for other like-minded criminals who scheme to steal victims' identities, defraud them and ignore the consequences of their actions."

At that time, Nida's attorney, Thomas D. Bever told E! News, "On behalf of my client Apollo, right now he feels remorse. He thought the judge was fair, and accepts his sentence, although he was hoping it would be less. Apollo is elated that this proceeding is past him and is no longer handing over his head. It meant everything to him that his mother and brother spoke on his behalf. He's OK, and will get through this."

The sentencing was hard for Nida, his wife and their two children. In this Sunday night's episode of RHOA, Parks sought out advice from Dr. Gregory Lunceford on how to tell her two sons, Dylan and Ayden about their father's prison sentence. In the episode, Parks revealed that her husband's behavior had changed after his sentencing. Nida reportedly became "very threatening and angry."

Parks said, "Because I haven't made a decision on whether or the children will visit with Apollo, it's making him act very erratic and angry, but at the end of the day, I don't care how much Apollo kicks and screams or goes to the club - I will do what's best for these children."

She added, "It's always been my desire to raise strong black men and I don't ever want them to think that going to jail is acceptable."

In the promo for next week's episode, Nida finds text messages that are supposed to prove that Parks had an affair.
