The new Final Fantasy XV Holiday update is now officially live.

A gamer going by the name OnePumpChump broke the news on Reddit today that the new Final Fantasy update for the holiday season is finally rolling in and asking gamers to update the game online. The Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.03 comes at 3.226 GB and according to OnePumpChump, it looks like the new patch turns out to be what Square Enix means to be the FFXV Holiday update.

Now gamers are playing Aranea at the start of the game in their party and many are hoping to eventually see an Aranea vs. Aranea boss fight in Final Fantasy XV. Gamers are really happy that Aranea can now join the rest of the guys on their road trip, making her push the car with the others. The only con of having Aranea in the party is that gamers can't go fishing - a pretty slight price to pay to have Aranea around.

Aside from giving out Aranea, the new Final Fantasy XV update also brings with it a few major fixes that addresses FFXV issues like the games glitches and problems with the HUD. According to Windows Report, a lot of gamers had been waiting for the Final Fantasy XV patch for the longest time ever, hoping to get fixes on the issues of the game. A lot of gamers got word on the new patch from customer service representatives from Square Enix instead of getting information on the update from the videogame developer itself because SE wasn't planning on sending out hotfixes. Luckily, it looks like the new patch is finally out for gamers to use.

Meanwhile, on other Final Fantasy XV news, the International Business Times reports that a leak reveals that Square Enix may have cut out a lot of great features for the game including Multiplayer modes, different boss forms, and Luna's original story for FFXV. The cut out features may make its way back to FFXV with the games Holiday Pack DLC, but gamers will have to wait and see.
