In a few months time gamers are going to get the highly anticipated action role-playing, third-person shooter Mass Effect: Andromeda and it looks like they'll be getting it on Microsoft and Sony's next generation consoles, the Xbox Project Scorpio and PlayStation 4 Pro.

In an interview with Stevivor yesterday, Producer for Mass Effect: Andromeda and the Mass Effect Trilogy, Michael Gamble, revealed that the game would also see a port on Sony's PS4 Pro and Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio.

According to Gamble, the graphics of Mass Effect: Andromeda is so much better when compared to the 2D navigation offered in the videogames of the original Mass Effect trilogy, and the game would suit the higher-end systems of next generation consoles like Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro.

"In Andromeda, that's totally different. You look up the windscreen of the Tempest, and space is rendered in front of you 180 degrees If you go to the back of the Tempest, you'll see that the star that's behind the ship is actually there, reflecting light beautifully on the conference room in the Tempest. Then, as you fly to a different area with a black hole, you see that effects things differently," Gamble gushed about the graphics during the interview.

While Gamble is much more certain about an improved version of Mass Effect: Andromeda on the PS4 Pro, the producer remains a little tight-lipped on the version of the game on Project Scorpio which will come out during the later part of 2017.

In other Mass Effect: Andromeda news, it looks like gamers can now play Mass Effect 2 for free on PC. According to a report by Polygon, the game has been made free for download on Origin along with Dungeon Keeper. Bioware also announced today that it would be giving freebies for five days starting tomorrow, Mass Effect fans better stay tuned for more updates on free games and other cool stuff from the developer.
