T-mobile has just announced that they are offering free DirecTV steaming services for 1 year for consumers who will make the big switch from AT&T. Although the news is very ironic as AT&T has recently acquired DirecTV Now. So the question now is if switching to T-Mobile for the free one year DirecTV service from AT&T.

Who Can Avail the Free DirecTV One Year Service?

The new promo of T-Mobile is offered to all AT&T subscribers who should at least have one number. Anyone interested should also be willing to open at least 2 lines from T-Mobile One plan. Moreover, the free DirecTV streaming services offered only includes the basic DirecTV Now plan. This will be given through a $35 credit for twelve straight months in the users bill. And for those who are not familiar, the $35 DirecTV plan is inclusive of 100 different channels of live television that they can stream from different devices.

How to Activate the Free DirecTV One Year Service of T-Mobile?

According to reports, users just need to activate the 2 lines from T-Mobile One in exchange of their AT&T number. The Un-carrier will automatically give the consumer a $35 monthly credit on their bill in the next twelve months. The user's monthly bill for their DirecTV Now for one year will be $420 as long as the user is subscribed in the next twelve months. In addition, consumers will also receive unlimited LTE internet service regardless if they use or do not use their DirecTV Now services.

The Verdict

The promo that T-Mobile presents to users making the big switch is definitely worth it. The only deciding factor for the user is if they are willing to change their numbers and telecommunications company for the perks and freebies. And is the services offered in T-Mobile better than the plan they have now from AT&T. If the answer is yes, then it is a worth switch.
