'Taken' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: The First Trailer Revealed, What We Know So Far!

"Taken" the TV series has just revealed its first trailer. This adaptation of the movie is a little different with the plot.

Clive Standen, who plays the role of Bryan Mills, is on the war parth as sister has been killed. He signs up for the CIA in order to hunt the people who have taken his sister in "Taken." Aside from his sister, there are others who are kidnapped by the same group of people in this series.

The movie of the same title had been starred by Liam Neeson where the first one had been about his daughter taken by the kidnappers. The sequel of the movie "Taken" was about his wife being taken and he did his best to find her.

It is reported that the "Taken" TV adaptation is a prequel where it shows a young Bryan Mills. He has been recruited by the CIA right after he saves a train from some gunmen. One of these people in the train happens to be Bryan's sister.

The CIA has been his venue to show his skills in "Taken." This fight has been personal for him as he hunts for those people responsible. It just so happens that Bryan has dangerous skills and his being in the CIA is high time that he uses these, especially with his mission.

Meanwhile, this prequel will let fans of the "Taken" films see how Bryan Mills' life was before the films. However, there is less information as of now on the full details of the TV series but the first trailer will already give a clear picture of the action to be expected in the series.

Clive Standen is best known for his character as Rollo in "Vikings" which is still on its 4th season at this time. Fans of Rollo will see a different character of Standen in "Taken" series. The trailer hints also of the action-packed series.

"Taken" is set to air on February 27, 2017 on NBC.
