Everyone knows that the CW series Arrow has some references and resemblance to the beloved superhero Batman. Arrow star Stephen Amell came up with an idea on how Arrow could make an epic reference to Batman.

In its debut in 2012, Arrow is shown as a dark and gritty series about Oliver Queen, a gloomy billionaire who turned to his crime-filled corrupt city and become a vigilante fighting crimes. Fans observed that the first season is just a series extended of Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.

Amell came up an idea on his Twitter account on how to play homage to Batman by having the Arrow symbol twisting and floating like the intro of the 1960 campy Batman series starring Adam West.

CW's Arrow is not ever near as dark and serious in Season 5 now compared to Season 1, so it probably could get silly and nostalgic with a shout-out to the campy 1966 Batman series. Maybe the floating symbol on an older TV could be the series' equivalent of the Bat Signal for some episodes.

This could really be a great idea as an Easter egg, since fans of comic series always love to spot on some Easter egg on their favorite show. In other CW shows, there have been some Easter eggs that were already noticed and it's mostly reference to Batman.

In Supergirl starring Melissa Benoist, her character has been giving hints of Batman living in the DC TV universe. She said that the vigilante hero lives in Earth-38. In another superhero show Legends of Tomorrow, Rip Hunter referred to someone as the "Dark Knight" on its first season.

In "Flash", Barry saw in the future newspaper that the Wayne Tech will merge someday with the Queen Inc. Amell's idea could be a great one since the other parts of the CW DC universe already did some reference.

For now, enjoy this fan made video of the mashup of Arrow and the 1966 Batman while waiting for Arrow's return on February 1 next year.
