The road of "Naruto Shippuden" is running to a certain course which will certainly end in "Boruto" and that which will mark the start of another generation. The arcs the anime is airing could help build up the foundation of the story of the protagonists.

This December, "Naruto Shippuden" is currently airing the 'Sasuke's Story: Sunrise' which started last December 1 and will be airing throughout the month. The arc continuously clarifies what Sasuke had to go through and must do to attain the peace of mind by atoning for all the sins he has committed. The adventure of Sasuke includes his fight against the Dark Thunder Group and his battle with Karyu plus his goal to find Orachimaru's  headquarters. This arc would be a good start to know how he became the person he is known in "Boruto".

After the Sasuke's Arc in "Naruto Shippuden", the month of January next year will be about Shikamaru to be entitled 'Shikamaru's Story: A Cloud Drifting in Silent Darkness'. Shikamaru has big responsibilities causing him to be more mature than any of his friends but deep inside, he just wants to lay back and relax but it is not an option. He cares deeply for Konoha and his friends that he won't even let them get involved in whatever mission Kakashi had given him which is dangerous.

"Naruto Shippuden" will soon air 'Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding' right after the Shikamaru's Arc. By February, the hearts of the fans of Naruto and Hinata love team must be prepared to witness what they are waiting for, the love month will feature the wedding of Naruto and Hinata which is the clear start that "Boruto" is on its way plus this arc would mean that this is the time that the Hokage of Konoha is Kakashi.

"Naruto Shippuden" is inching now towards "Boruto" and sadly as it may sound for the fans of the original ninja anime, the next generation must step up and lead the people to peace as new challenges will arise and they have the responsibility to continue what their parents have started. "Naruto Shippuden", as it approaches its end will give rise to a new and exciting adventure.
