'Dead By Daylight' Latest News, DLC, & Update: Play For Free Weekend Event Starts Tomorrow!

The ever popular and horrifying PC game "Dead By Daylight" will hold another free to play event called Free Weekend. The latter gives everyone who wants to experience the game's horrors a chance to do so for free during the event.

The horror multiplayer PC game "Dead By Daylight" is available on the Steam store for $19.99 in its base form, while the Deluxe Edition would cost an extra $10. The Deluxe Edition of "Dead By Daylight" will come with an art book and a copy of the game's official soundtrack.

For some players, its may take a long time to decide on buying certain games, and this month's "Dead By Daylight" Free Weekend event is just what they need to make up their minds. According to Walking Dead Forums, a similar event took place last August and some players might have missed that window of opportunity to play the game for free. Luckily, fans get another chance on December 15 and over the weekend to experience the Play For Free event.

The Play For Free Weekend Event for "Dead By Daylight" came in just the knick of time since a new update just came into town. According to Game N Guide, the "Dead By Daylight" Patch 1.3.1 introduces a new location Blackwater Swamp, a dark and festering swamp surrounded by a muddy maze. In addition to this new creepy map, a new killer was also added to the game; The Hag.

The same report claims that The Hag in "Dead By Daylight" is gifted with the power to teleport and jeopardize the auras of characters. However, with new horrors, comes a new survivor to even the playing field. A new character named Ace has been added to the game and he has an interesting background as a gambler. The latter enables him to loot better items thanks to his lucky nature.
