These days, it's hard to imagine for some people to part with their smartphone devices even for a little while. And, this rings true for the avid mobile gamers who just can't seem to keep themselves a distance from their beloved gaming gizmos.

And, this is exactly one of the primary appeal of mobile gaming as compared to playing video games on the usual home consoles like PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Mobile games allow for usage even when you are on the go. You can just take your handheld devices anywhere with you. This contributes to the growing number of gamers ditching the traditional home games for its mobile apps counterpart.

The massive popularity of mobile gaming nowadays is best exemplified by the huge frenzy created by "Pokemon Go" in recent months. But, mobile gaming is more than just this augmented reality game phenomenon. There's a lot of quality gaming apps now available in your Android and Apple devices. And, here are just some of the best mobile games this 2016 as chosen by gaming savants online.
