When two polarizing figures come across each other, they aren't necessarily bound to collide and repel each other. As it turns out, the pair could get along really well.

The U.S. president-elect Donald Trump has recently met with "Life of Pablo" rapper Kanye West on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at the Trump Tower located in Manhattan, New York City. And, while the two were mum on the details of what they discussed when pressed by some reporters in the lobby of the building after their brief meeting, West has somehow spilt the beans in a series of tweets later in the day.

Kanye West Opened Up Regarding His Meeting With Donald Trump

"I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues," Kim Kardashian-West's husband posted on his Twitter account. "These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change."

Kanye West tried to dodge the questions from the media after the meeting, saying all he wanted that time is to just pose for some pictures with Donald Trump, according to a USA Today report.

The newly-elected president, on the one hand, referred to Kanye West as a good man and he also added that their friendship goes back a long way already. Donald Trump simply said that their conversation during the meet-up was about "life."

Kanye West Still Pushing For His 2020 Presidential Bid?

While he did not answer the reporters' query regarding his previously announced plan of running in the 2020 U.S. presidential election, Kanye West did left an intriguing tweet to his followers at the end of the said Twitter post, wrote Rolling Stone.

The rapper could be implying that he is giving way for a Donald Trump re-election after the first term. Kanye West let his fans know of his intention to run for the presidency in 2020 during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
