"Sense 8" Season 2 has been confirmed to air in 2017 while a Christmas special is scheduled to release this month. Though nothing much was hinted in the December episode description of the American sci-fi series, spoilers surrounding its second season point to more discoveries, violence and sex scenes. A Variety report revealed the description of "Sense 8" Christmas special episode which goes, "The journey continues as these eight singular hearts and minds weave in and out of each other's lives finding deeper connections, learning darker, more desperate secrets about one another and struggling to identify with more than just oneself." The description is apparently vague and does not hint of anything about the possible plot of the new season.

Fortunately, a previous report from BuzzFeed confirmed substantial details about "Sense 8" Season 2 coming from the stars of the show. When asked what fans could expect in the upcoming season of the hit TV series, Max Riemelt who plays as Wolfgang teased that the sensates will be cooperating to defeat Whispers. Riemelt also said that the team is pushing the boundaries, meaning there will be more of everything, including sex and violence.

Buzzfeed also talked with another "Sense 8" cast Tina Desai who plays as Kala Dandekar, a pharmacist who discovered romantic feelings for Wolfgang while she is tied up in an arranged marriage. Actress Desai revealed that her scientific knowledge will be of more use to the cluster as she will be able to contribute more in their mission to hunt Whispers. She also confirmed that her love triangle between her fiance and Wolfgang will also continue in the second season.
