Incase you are planning to buy a secondary phone, Amazon Fire Phone could be the one. Amazon is offering the Fire Phone for $189, unlocked. The phone includes one year of full Prime benefits.

Amazon Fire Phone was launched past summer, at $199 on-contract, and $650 for an unlocked handset. The phone flopped and the company had to reduce the on-contract price to a 99 cents in September. The offer might end up in a day, and right now it's listed under the Amazon's "Bonus Deal of the Day."

On paper, the Amazon Fire Phone looks good. The phone is powered by a 2.2GHz quad core processor, coupled with a 2GB RAM. It has also got a 4.7" HD display. Fire Phone boasts a 13MP camera with optical image stabilization. Under the deal, you also get unlimited free cloud storage for photos taken with Fire phone.

Amazon Fire Phone is compatible with all GSM networks, including AT&T, T-Mobile. It's not compatible with CDMA networks such as Verizon and Sprint.

Amazon had recently updated the Fire Phone with features such as Firefly - ability to recognize more than 2,000 famous paintings using information from Wikipedia.
