Samsung is set to launch its new flagship device that it hopes will bring the company back to the top when it comes to mobile devices. The company has been adversely affected by the fiasco surrounding the Galaxy Note 7 and recently, the Galaxy S6. With the launch of Galaxy S8, it appears that the tech giant hopes to bury those problems with something that is quite out of the ordinary.

The Probable Features Of Samsung's Latest Mobile Device

Some of the possible features of Samsung Galaxy S8 may include a new voice assistant called Viv. This name was lifted from Viv Labs, a South Korean company that Samsung has acquired. It is credited with the development of Siri, the voice assistant used by Apple. This AI can be used to send text messages, make phone calls and make appointments.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 may not have the usual 3.5 mm headphone jack as well as the home button. These are some features that will not be included in future iPhones as well. In place of the headphone jack, Samsung may develop its own port considering that a lot of devices now are supporting USB Type-C ports.

This Device May Be Equipped With A Bigger And More Efficient Battery

The removal of the headphone jack, according to some observers, will enable the device to accommodate a larger and more efficient battery. As for its display screen, the Samsung Galaxy S8 may still have its usual bezel screen display. Is it similar to iPhone? But there are rumors that the electronic giant may reduce the size of the front panel in order to make 90 percent of the panel function as an active display space.

It is also probable that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be equipped with stereo speakers. This will enhance the listening experience of owners of the device, even without using stereo headphones. This is plausible considering that the tech company has been collaborating with the Harman organization for some time now.
