"Clash Royale," a mobile strategy game created by "Clash of Clans" developer Supercell has received good reviews from critics since the day it launched. It was even declared as best iPhone game of the year. Players who would like to try "Clash Royale" can check out three beginner tips below to learn how to advance in the game smoothly.

Just like in any other game, it is best for players to spend the initial game monetary with caution. So, the first "Clash Royale" tip is to ensure that player's gold will be spent wisely as it cannot be collected the same way in "Clash of Clans." "Clash Royale" gold is earned from completing battles and unlocking chests.

The next "Clash Royale" tip is to utilize Skeleton troops for the initial attack. It could be an effective strategy to distract the opponents before pulling out a huge tank troop that can induce heavy damage. Moreover, Skeletons are now more viable and could be deadly when partnered with the Hog, GottabeMobile reported.

Being mindful of one's attack is our last "Clash Royale" tip for beginners. It is reportedly advisable for players to let the enemies attack first for the sake of Elixir. The Elixir bar is recommended to be full before one drops an attack for better chances of getting ahead.

Also, players should be cautious with releasing multiple troops at the beginning of the game. Though bombarding the enemy with several armies may overwhelm the opponents, there are "Clash Royale" players who have already learned the best defense in the game. So, beginners are advised to ensure that each troop they throw at the start of the battle will be worth it.

Meanwhile, for "Clash Royale" players who are also into "Clash of Clans," there is some good news that has surfaced this week. The release of "Clash of Clans" December 2016 update has been given a light and is said to be launched between Dec. 19 to 23. For more information about the "COC" December update, please click here.
