Overwatch is one of the biggest games of 2016, and it has always been sure to join in on big events like the Olympics and Halloween. This December, the developers at Blizzard are bringing Christmas to Overwatch, and the event is said to launch this coming Dec. 13.

A tweet posted on the official Overwatch Twitter page teases a snowy version of the King's Row map, and it also comes with a message that says, "It's the most wonderful time of the year, and we hope you'll join us for some holiday cheer!"

During the Olympics, Blizzard introduced a new Overwatch game mode called "Lucio Ball" which was pretty much Rocket League played with a team of Lucios. They also introduced some special skins for characters that represented their home countries like South Korea for D.Va, Japan for Genji, and the UK for Tracer. Halloween had "Junkenstein's Revenge" as well as different skins, sprays, and highlight intros for the different characters.

Fans who have been data-mining the game have also found some neat treats that could be coming this Christmas to Overwatch. Some have found some Christmas music for the game while searching the files for the PTR. They have also discovered some different sound clips for Athena (the game announcer) that announces a "Gladiator" and a "Challenger."

As for Overwatch Christmas skins, a lot of people are looking right at Torbjorn for a definite Santa Skin, and they are also expecting Mei to have a "Frosty the Snowman" look. Some have guessed that Reinhardt would also make a good Santa and Soldier 76 should come with an "ugly Christmas sweater" version.

Back in Halloween, some fans were even able to find voice lines for the Christmas event like Reinhardt saying "Happy Holidays!" and Genji saying "Merry Christmas!"

No full list of extras has come out, but fans are at least sure that the Overwatch Christmas event happens this coming Dec. 13.
