In the latest PSX 2016, Atlus released a brand new trailer for Persona 5. The trailer shows how the protagonist transferred into a new school. He later soon discovered that he has the power to dive into the hearts of people and force them to confront with their true selves. Using this power, the protagonist took it upon himself to expose the issues that revolve around the society. He, along with his friends, call themselves as "Phantom Thieves" and uses the power of their Persona to carry out their goals.

Atlus also announced that pre-orders for Persona 5 are already up. The pre-order bonus includes a steel book, Playstation 4 theme, three avatars and a DLC. The DLC bonus includes a returning Persona iconic, Izanagi. Izanagi is known to be the Persona 4's protagonist's iconic Persona and can transform into its final form, Izanagi no Okami. Earlier on, Atlus also released a limited edition "Take your heart"  for Persona 5 that includes: a steel book case, soundtrack, Morgana Plush, art book, collectible outer box and a school bag.

Persona 5 is coined at the sixth game in the Persona series. The game's story revolves around a group of high school students who are living a double life as a student and as a member of the Phantom Thieves. The Phantom Thieves is an organization that aims to expose and liberate the wrongdoings in their society. No reason was stated by Atlus for the delay of Persona 5's release date however, they said that the game will now support dual audio in contrast with their previous statement of only supporting the English dub.

Earlier this year, Atlus released two new trailers that showcase two new characters joining the roster of the Phantom Thieves. Persona 5 is slated for release in April 2017. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
