Kate Beckinsale 'Underworld' Star Reveals Her Secret On Being Sexy Under Her Cat Suit; Hopes Her Character Inspires Women

Fans of Kate Beckinsale has always been wondering how she can pull off her sexy body in her tight cat suit in the "Underworld" movie franchise. Her secret? She eats to fill her costume.

The 43-year-old star of the action movie franchise said she liked to fill the cat suit to look more tight and sexy. She stated to the Sun that nobody wants to be skinny with a cat suit loose on them.

 She said in the interview that she eat more in catsuit mode or she'd never get through the gym sessions. The actress also added that wearing her cat suit is like putting on her wedding dress every five years or more.

About her workout routine, Beckinsale said that she steps up the workout and she is always working out as long as she is far from being terribly skinny.

Beckinsale also revealed how tricky the cat suit is when she wears it on and off, and how someone has to put their foot on her back in order to help and ensure its done right up tightly.

Even her character has been kicking Lycan butts left and right, Beckinsale also said revealed that she would have never thought of playing this role because she is not a sporty girl when she's young. She said she is more invested on honing her creative skills than her physical appearance.

Beckinsale plays the role of Selene, vampire death dealer, who is our for revenge against the Lycans for killing her family. "Underworld: Blood Wars", the latest instalment in the film series, will uncover Selene risking her life to finish the war between vampires and Lycans for her daughter's future.

It is the third sequel in the series and it came four years since the last instalment, "Underworld: Awakening". Beckinsale also reprised her role in the prequel of first movie called "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans".

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Beckinsale discussed about how important her role in the "Underworld" franchise has been for women because a woman's body is generally under some sort of attack.

A self-declared feminist, she talked about how a mother's values are something she promotes not only in movie premieres but also in her household, especially to her daughter.

At the beginning of her career Beckinsale was known for her roles in period dramas such as "Much Ado About Nothing" and "Cold Comfort Farm". She was also in a period romantic comedy called "Love and Friendship" which received critical acclaim.
