Both Android and iOs users enjoyed a Pokemon Go update recently. The version 1.14.0 was launched on iOS and version 0.47.1 for Android. Both updates were released by Niantic, although fans were dismayed that it wasn't exactly the update that they are looking forward to.

The Pokemon Go update was launched to fix a bug, including one that deals with egg hatching. And so while fans are dismayed that they are not seeing new with the recent update, but it made sure that the game will be flawless for everyone to enjoy. The update also comes with minor text improvements. But aside from the egg hatching problem and the text upgrade, there are no other significant changes that the update will do with the game.

Fans who are looking for something bigger from Pokemon Go should not be disappointed as Niantic is rumored to have another update this December. The rumor says that the next month's update will include the introduction of a legendary Pokemon, although this is left unconfirmed up to this point.

Niantic is surely working on several improvements to keep their app busy and interesting. But for now, fans have to wait for further updates before they can find new characters and interesting events. If there is any consolation, it is the fact that fans can surely look forward to something bigger since developers will definitely do everything to keep the app at the top spot.

Furthermore, Niantic released another announcement confirming the rumors that fans will be able to relish on X2 XP during the Thanksgiving week. Their statement reads: "We are humbled that hundreds of millions of you around the world have joined us on this journey. So we would like to say thank you - and what better way to say thank you than to celebrate our community. So, starting November 23rd at 00:00 UTC and going through November 30th 00:00 UTC, we will double the amount of XP and Stardust you receive when completing in-game actions."
