“Jane the Virgin” star, Gina Rodriguez, who plays Jane Vilanueva in the show was a guest on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” along with Idina Menzel who is a singer, songwriter, and actress. The pair talked about various real-life topics like experiences in losing virginity and how fans relate with Rodriguez’s character in “Jane the Virgin”. It was an extremely energetic session filled with jokes and both guests were obviously having a lot of fun on the show.

PopSugar shares that with the recent incident involving Jane in “Jane the Virgin” where she lost her virginity, the actress Gina Rodriguez was asked about fans’ reaction to this major development in “The Late Late Show With James Corden”. Rodriguez told Corden that the fans’ reaction was very positive because they told the truth. Losing one’s virginity is not something cool or awesome but quite the opposite.

Rodriguez told Corden that there were fans who would ask her for a hug and then immediately confided in her about their personal experience when they lost their virginity. Rodriguez was surprised that people would share such private matters with her and Corden told her that she was very “confideable”. Rodriguez took that as a cue and asked Corden when did he lose his virginity. After being told that Corden’s parents were in the audience, the “Jane the Virgin” actress moved over to Menzel and asked about her experience instead.

When the conversation led to a discussion about the experience of losing virginity on the show, through the encouragement of “Jane the Virgin” actress Gina Rodriguez, Idina Menzel admitted that she had lost her virginity to the boy whom she had gone to prom with and had been with together for many years, MDJ Online reported. However, she felt guilty for having done the deed in her parents’ bed when they were away on a weekend. In fact, she was so remorseful that she asked if she would be going to hell for this. After some slight hesitations, both Rodriguez and Corden agreed that she would not be sent to hell for this action.

A video was released where another topic that was discussed was Idina Menzel’s self-titled album “idina”. Menzel explained that she named the album this way because this was a very personal collection of songs as she was going through a lot while creating it. The lower case “i” shows her vulnerability and the full stop in the end signifies, “Idina, period”. When asked if she would release an album, “Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez confirmed that she most definitely would. After Corden brought up the subject that Rodriguez used to be a Salsa dancer, she ended up giving a mini lesson to both Corden and Menzel.
