The developers are improving gaming experience by patches and now "Skyrim Special Edition" would receive a new patch on gaming consoles and it is named as update 1.2. It is reported that the Xbox One and PS4 gamers would be able to download it soon, but no confirmed date is given for the update release. By the update, the developer tries to make Skyrim Special Edition more stable and smooth in its performance.

Apart from that the Skyrim Special Edition update aims to resolve issues found in using Alt - Tab while playing the PC version of the game. Other issues include crashes found after change load order mods, general bugs, browsing mod improvements, not generating proper water flow etc., would be patched up in Skyrim Special Edition update.

People who are looking to download the patch have to create the Bethesda account first and should choose the mods from the main menu and download it. Interestingly, the achievements and trophies are not made available while in mods. The modding data is different for both the console gamers, for PS4 it is 1 GB and for Xbox One it is 5 GB.

It should be noted that the Skyrim Special Edition was released on Oct. 28 and people started complaining about the issues found in the game. Due to compression issue, the sound of the game found to be of not good quality. That was patched by Skyrim Special Edition 1.1 update recently by patch notes stating some of the affected sound files have been updated to avoid the requirement of compression.

Skyrim Special Edition is the remastered version of the game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that got released in 2011 and was highly praised by critics and gamers. The remastered version came with a full-length graphical upgrade with mod support and DLC expansions.

The initial reviews of Skyrim Special Edition confirmed that it was up to the expectations of the fans of the original version. Especially the graphics of Skyrim Special Edition was much appreciated by the critics though the plotting was not up to the mark.
