Cartoon Network's "Steven Universe" confirms episodes for season 4 are definitely scheduled to continue airing this year. Although no specific date is yet given by its creator, Rebecca Sugar, recent speculations say the fantasy cartoon TV series will be back earlier than November 25.

"Steven Universe," which premiered in November 2013 about the adventures of a young boy, who is also a half-gem, took a break without any notice in September, causing rumors to spread that Cartoon Network cancelled the show. In a discussion on Reddit, it was said that the animated series is set for a return on Thanksgiving. However, in a report, season 4 will start airing episodes on November 7.

Season 4 began airing on August 11 and the final season 3 episode was shown a day earlier. The current season stopped airing new episodes after its seventh. Also according to such discussion on Reddit, Steven's adventure will kick off with an episode entitled "Gem Harvest," which will show the boy in his mature self. A preview to such episode has already been released online.

On a different discussion on Reddit, "Gem Harvest" will reportedly showcase new powers for Steven. The boy will start manifesting powers, which only his aunts are capable of practicing. Redditors are also saying there will be an infusion between Peridot and Steven and only the half-gem, half-boy can stabilize Peridot. Discussions also claim Yellow Diamond will return and another character will join the show.

Since its premiere in 2013, "Steven Universe" enjoys high ratings for capturing the hearts of children and those who are "young at heart" with the show's odd storylines. Despite its success in terms of viewership, Rebecca Sugar announced the show will only have five seasons.

"I have big plans for that season! Sugar was quoted by HNGN. "Endgame or not, I'm shooting for the moon. I'm going to write us into a serious corner," the creator added.
